Rosaspina Etching Paper 220gsm - Ivory 70 x 100 cm
The Fabriano Rosaspina Etching paper is made with 60% Cotton. The relatively unsized Rosapina is a soft paper particularly good for aquatint, etching, lithography and silk-screening.
The Fabriano watermark and logo runs parallel to the sides of the sheet. The two larger sides are deckled.
Fabriano has been making paper since 1264. The Fabriano mill’s fine arts papers were used and highly praised by Michelangelo.
Fabrianese paper masters pioneered many of the processes now common in paper manufacture today, including the watermark and the technique of surface sheet glueing using gelatine.
In 2002, Fabriano became part of the Fedrigoni Group, which backed it with significant new investments. Fabriano is committed to renewable energy and makes extensive use of self-generated hydroelectric power.
